We are migrating our Servers Alive environment from a desktop to a server class
machine. We are going from an external USB modem, to an internal USR PCI 56K
Performance Pro Modem.

We are running Windows 2003 Server SP1. Running 6.0.2056 Standard version of
Servers Alive in both.

I am trying to get the modem to work and when I perform at test I get the
following in the log:

Devices shows as US Robotics V92 FAX PCI#2
Comm setting 8N1
Baud rate 28800
Protocol to use: TAP
UCP Operation:01

I have verified the phone line is active, the number ans SMSC no. was migrated
from our current production environment. The modem queries successfully from
within device manager.

Any suggestions to resolve this will be much appreciated.

Cheers

Steve
