The SQL monitoring will only check if a DB is accesible or not.
If you want to check for certain values within a table, then you can use
the ODBC add-on monitor.

Does the SQL monitoring portion if SA allow you to watch any counter and
set a threshold on it?  For example I want to watch the active
transactions for a server and page if they go above xx number.  If so
can it be set at the DB level also?
