We just made an enhancement to the DNS PROTOCOL check in Servers Alive.

The option to have "Result should exactly be" has been enhanced with an "Ignore
order of received IPs" option.

How does this affect the DNS checking?

let's say you query the DNS for A-record www.mydomain.com and as a
result you get
        1.2.3.4 2.3.4.5 3.4.5.6

if you do the query a 2nd time you get
        2.3.4.5 1.2.3.4 3.4.5.6

With the option "result should exactly be", this would give you a down (most of
the time).
With the additional option "Ignore order of received IPs" enabled, it would give
an up. (it will give the up IF the number of returned IPs is the same as the
number of IPs that you give as result AND that it's the same IPs (even received
in different order))
