Servers Alive has to be running on a system that is able to access both in the
protocol you want to use for your checking.
The alert (paging) can be send via
* modem and phone line (alpha paging option)
* GSM modem (alpha paging with the AT+C protocol)
* network (smpp or snpp protocol/gateway)

I am wanting to leave for florida and I only have a DSL modem and router. I
want to be able to have Servers alive page me on my cell phone if either the
router goes out or the DSL modem goes out on me. Is this possible and if so
how?
