or it could also be added to the wizard IF we would at least know what value

You say "this value" which is very unclear.  If it is not in the global change 
wizard, then there is no supported way of changing it.  That being said the 
hosts file is a text file.   It could be backed up and then edited using 
find/replace.

I need to change this value from 30 to 3 on over 200 checks. 

Any way to do this all at once?  Opening up 200 checks is going to really suck. 

Not seeing it in the change wizard, hoping there is some undocumented way???
