I did try to install a fresh copy of SA on a 2008 R2 x64 bit server.. the thing I ran into was having the program launch with “Administrative” permissions, otherwise it couldn’t perform the actions it does to check services, it also didn’t seem to operate normally. So I went back to running it on good ol WinXP 32bit. ;)

And we do not plan to do it either We already know from some reactions we received that it doesn't run correctly as a service. The next major release (no eta on it) should be a Win2008 compatible version of SA.
