So it turns out I did NOT have the latest version of the AV checker. I
re-downloaded the latest one and installed it, now it is working. J

Thank you Dirk.

I have tried checking the box “local system must have AV product
installed” made no difference.

Make sure to run the latest 1.0.31 build of the add-on

This add-on is one that changes "often" as it uses info that is on the
websites of the AV-vendors and they are sooooo nice to make regular changes to
their websites (lay-out wise).

Subject: [SA-list] Symantec Antivirus Check Failing

Hello all, I recently installed the Antivirus Update checker. I selected the
‘Synamtec Anti-Virus (Endpoint Protection 11 –Norton AV 2008 and
newer)’ option. We are running SEP v11, but I only receive this error:
‘ERR: Invalid procedure call or argument(at 0)’ I know I am
doing something wrong, but what is it?

Thank you,
