I am sure Dirk will beat me to the answer but this has been answered on the list and I am fairly certain in the manual.
The hosts file and the groups file can be moved from one machine to another. There is no need to import it (if you are using the same version). Then on the new machine under startup tell it to use the new file. Also you can export the registry settings and import it to the new machine to get all of your startup, interface, template etc settings on to the new machine. I've tried the registry solution unsuccessfully. I've tried to save and 'import hosts' in the Edit menu unsuccessfully. In this case, it's said the 'nothing to do,no items selected'. When I try the 'Import old hostfile' in the File menu, I have the message 'datafile doesn't have the right structure, will only load the good part of it'. I think it's because my file is not proper.
