This page which I got via normal browsing channels on their site has a link to the update.ini. Either they forgot to remove this link or it is just broken at the moment. If you have not referenced this page or the fact that the link is broken it may not hurt to contact their web support team and see what they have to say.

Worse is that even were they point to update.ini (http://www.mcafee.com/apps/downloads/security_updates/superdat.asp?region=us&segment=enterprise (http://www.mcafee.com/apps/downloads/security_updates/superdat.asp?region=us&segment=enterprise)) there is no update.ini file available anymore. Looks like they simply don't have that file anymore on the their website :-( and I don't see any place on their site were the list the latest version of the DAT files. And without that we won't be able to get the number anymore either :-( So for the momentâ¦we can't fix that . I send a mail about this to McAfee to see if they are wiling to help. dirk. We now get the following error: ERR: Invalid procedure call or argument(at 0) I guess this may indicate that McAfee have changed their website?
