That would be helpful here. Or at least would have been in the past. It seems we worked out the issue on our Red Hat server and haven't needed to restart the service in over a year but previously it would have been quite helpful.

We're evaluating if there is a need to have a "execute command" alert option that would do this over SSH. This would give you the possibiliy to (re)start a daemon on a remote *NIX system.
