Subject: [SA-list] RE: interchange and statistical logging

Dirk,

Is there any documentation or 3rd party sites that can help more with this?
I am not really familiar with the interchange. I have seen statistical
logging in the menus. Just looking for some help with this...

Thanks - Dave

Thanks Dirk. We are working on a major re-structuring of our SA
environment. We use 4 instances and have to do a lot of work and trying to
save time.

Next question: Can servers alive record his up/down history in a sql
database for historic and trending?

Thanks - Dave

Via a text file this can be done.

Create a textfile with per line the name of the host you want to import.
Then within Servers Alive, select EDIT-IMPORT, and select the just created
file,
then select NO DELIMITER, and select (checkbox) what entries should be used
as
templates for those new hosts, and click IMPORT.

Is there an easy way to import servers into servers alive via text files or
CSV files or XLS files?

Dave
