Use %e in your alerts. I am not sure if it gives Display name or Service name but it says "NTService : Printer DCA status="Stopped" In my case the service name and display name are both Printer DCA.

The same goes for the âService nameâ of the Windows NT service. I am willing to use a variable in ANY field if it worksJ Have a great day! Thanks. It would be a nice feature to add in the next build. It is very important to our hospital environment to know the names of the services to stop. Have a great day! We receive SMTP alerts and SMS messages when Windows NT services are stopped and started. Is there a way to include the âDisplay Nameâ and âWindows NT service nameâ in the alert message automatically? Currently I use the variables of %p is %s (%p for the pretty name & %s for the status) and manually type the Windows NT service âDisplay nameâ & âService nameâ in the âSubjectâ field of the SMTP alert.
