Can you redownload http://www.woodstone.nu/soft/beta/salive8.exe
(blocked::blocked::http://www.woodstone.nu/soft/beta/salive8.exe) and try with
that one

Also make the following registry addition:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\DBU Consulting\Servers
Alive\Startup\ThreadTypeString (string) with as value UPHW

What version of Servers Alive are you using?

Subject: [SA-list] External COM ODBC Query check

My basic Ping and TCP checks are working fine. I believe that I’m having
trouble with a Query check. But I’m not sure how to diagnose it. Server
Alive keeps hanging when they are enabled after several(50-100 cycles) working
checks. When I disable 2 External COM Query Checks everything works fine. Any
tips on how to diagnose and solve this would be helpful.

Thanks much,

Tom
