Hi All,
I regularly run an archive_audit which I use for a variety of maintenance and
monitoring scripts, it is run from cron every Saturday with the following entry;
rm -f /samqfs/archive_audit/groupfs-archive_audit.*;
/opt/SUNWsamfs/sbin/archive_audit -f
/samqfs/archive_audit/groupfs-archive_audit.out -V /export/groupfs >
/samqfs/archive_audit/groupfs-archive_audit.log
I only keep the most recent run.
The most recent cron run on the weekend failed with errors on some directories.
I tried running it manually and was able to replicate the problem.
Here is an example;
archive_audit: Cannot open directory /export/groupfs/UrbanMonitor: No such file
or directory
archive_audit: Cannot open directory /export/groupfs/transfers: No such file or
directory
archive_audit: Cannot open directory /export/groupfs/ivec_videos: No such file
or directory
archive_audit: Cannot open directory /export/groupfs/Murdoch-Atmos-Lab: No such
file or directory
archive_audit: Cannot open directory /export/groupfs/hyperspectral: No such
file or directory
The directories in question do exist and are accessible; the data can be staged
and accessed.
Has anyone seen this error before?
Any idea what may have triggered it?
And how to fix it?
Cheers
Rob.
