i've had a look, and the db seems to run using a crc trye checking system
(thats my assumption from running scannew anyway)
so, sad converted to dsk, etc wont work until the db knows the crc of those
dumps.

probably the same thing applies for the 80 track disk thing,

there may be many different versions of the same disk,
they are the [a1] numbers, after certain dumps,

if you have any unrecoginised dumps left over after running goodsamc,
email them to [EMAIL PROTECTED],
they'll be included in the next release.
if you cant email the actual dumps, rename them and send the scannew file

if you have any corrections, again email them,

the bloke needs feedback, positive or negative, thats how these things
get done!

the db so far looks like stuff available on the net, so by no means will it
include everything
i remember the nes one statring off with about 600 dumps,
its now over 6000!
