may i suggest...

www.nochex.com

used them for ages, no probs. As long as you have a debit card and a bank
account, you're in. 99p per transaction, but quite useful.

Cheers

no idea really what else to use, i'm going to do a bit of a lookup tonight,

just do a general search on paypal and fraud or even
fraudulant or this fraudulent
and see the 1000's of pages that come up in google.

like yourself i believed that i was protected thru paypal, but nope, no
comeback on them whatsoever, and others have lost many $1000's

and paypal is completley different from cheques, postal orders and cash,

if they send any of the above as payment, its yours, cheques clear after 4
days!, and its legally your money.
paypal can (and does) withhold transactions many weeks after payment!, so
even if you think the money is yours it isnt. the only thing you can do is
take out the cash immediatley and then when paypal removes the money from
your bank / credit card claim it back from them.

this company really is a bit dodgy to say the least

Dean
