I love the term "Spam Soufflé". :)
The best ever adventure thing was William McGugan's unfinished MasterBasic adventure program. It was great but thanks to SAM BASIC's somewhat unstable nature his saved version of it got kinda' munged. It was really great, though. I wrote a little adventure in it and really liked it.
