I got problems when installing the Debian binary packages from: http://de.samba.org/samba/ftp/Binary_Packages/Debian/samba3/dists/stable/main/binary-i386/
after running apt-get update on my woody machine (samba 2.x installed) i can not upgrade to 3.x
because there are some open dependencies :
libacl1 2.2.15-1 but woody only got 2.0.8-1
libattr1 2.4.8-1 but woody only gut 2.0.7-1
... since installing the required packages from testing/unstable is impossible because they depend on a
higher libc6 version ... i really do not know what to do with these packages ....
i would really like to use them ... but now, i only see the chance to install samba3 by compiling it from
scratch ....
