Hello, I use Suse 8.2 with samba as a PDC for mey win2000 prof. Worstations. Everything runs fine. But only root can use smbpasswd. For normal users, the program responds:
machine 127.0.0.1 rejected the password change: Error was : RAP86: The specified password is invalid. Failed to change password for koka Who can help ? Alles klappt, aber smbpasswd erlaubt nur root (im lokalen Modus) die Sambapasswörter zu ändern.
