Does the latest Samba 3.0 release still work on redHat 7.0? I really would like to know because after downloading, compiling and installing it, it exits on startup with the following message:
/usr/local/samba/bin/smbd: error while loading shared libraries: unexpected reloc type 0x80 Compiled with options: ./configure --sbindir=/usr/local/samba/bin --with-logfilebase=/var/log/samba --with-smbmount --with-pam --with-acl-support My system: RedHat version 7.0 gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.1 2.96-85) Please, can somebody answer this question? Kind regards, Eddie Lania. <!DSPAM:3f3fe693214301232614842> -- To unsubscribe from this list go to the following URL and read the instructions: http://lists.samba.org/mailman/listinfo/samba
