It would be most helpful to those of us with mixed architecture clusters if
the VAX and Alpha build could both be supported within the same installation
tree, using, say, a [.VAX] subdirectory for the VAX images and a [.Alpha]
subdirectory for the Alpha images. As it is now, the build/install
procedure assumes one or the other architecture, but not both. Thanks for
considering it.
