I notice that in my SAMBA_ROOT:[VAR.LOCKS] directory that a ton of BROWSE.DAT_NEW files get created. Is this normal? I'm running Samba V2.2.8 on OpenVMS VAX V7.2 and OpenVMS Alpha V7.3-1 in a cluster. For now, I've put a version limit on the directory. Is this the best way to address the issue? -- Brian Tillman Smiths Aerospace 3290 Patterson Ave. SE, MS 1B3 Grand Rapids, MI 49512-1991 Brian.Tillman is the name, smiths-aerospace.com is the domain.
