I am running Suse 7.1 with samba installed and i am connecting to a
network of windows PC's.
I can see the samba server within
network neighborhood but when i try to access the
server
it brings up a password box and none
of the passwords i have for users, root etc configured
on the linux machine, work. I have checked and rechecked the security
settings within linux
but everything seems to be fine. Is
there something within the password file that needs to be
changed
in order for me to connect
successfully?
(I am a new user to linux and i am
still unsure as to where everything is within the
system)
Thanks
Andy.
