Hello, I have finally got Samba up and running in a basic config. But I was wondering, most modern UNIX/LINUX software these days (qmail, proftpd, postfix, and more) allow you to get user to login and then have the authentication come from some other method, therefore removing the need for users to have system accounts on the server.
