Trying to debug the Windows "change password" mecanism from Samba (debug = 101 and passwd chat debug = yes), the password typed on the Windows chat appears in clear in the Samba log files. Does it mean what it seems to, that Windows sends passwords in clear on the network??? Can't it be changed???
