Fellow samba users, I have an interesting issue. I have a samba share with the directory residing on the linux box in which some files open as read only. I changed the files permissions of 777 just to trouble shoot the issue to no avail. I tried chattr -i to no avail. I can open up the file, save it with a different name and it works fine. I am stumped, has anyone ran across this before? Any and all help is appreciated.
