I am getting this error message under our XP Pros: \\server is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator...
Sometimes I will continually get this message, and occasionally I may get a username/password prompt and am able to login and see the shares. My 2K Pro sometimes gives me errors, but eventually its lets me have access -- and then I have no issues. (Unless I reboot, and then the problem starts again.) We are in a non-domain environment (using 1 workgroup name). Is there some setting that I need to check? Either on the Samba side or on the NT/2K/XP workstations?
