Dear all, Ubuntu 8.04 Server Samba 3.0.28a configured as PDC.
I want to give options to samba users to change their own passwords and sync it with the unix passwords whenever they change it. I have used the following in my smb.conf file unix password sync = yes passwd program = /usr/bin/passwd %u passwd chat = *Enter\snew\s*\spassword:* %n\n *Retype\snew\s*\spassword:* %n\ n *password\supdated\ssuccessfully* .
