Actually, strangely, what fixed this issue was adding this to the samba config: interfaces = 10.1.1.0/24 10.10.12.0/24 10.0.0.0/24
I just basically duplicated this line: hosts allow = 10.1.1.0/24 127.0.0.0/8 10.10.12.0/24 10.0.0.0/24 And took out the localhost. Now everything works as expected.
