Hi, thanks for the advice. I don't think QNAP supports NFSv4. But even if we need to be able to set the permissions over windows not on the cmdline. I discovered the following experimental modules for samba that should allow 1:1 mapping of ntfs acl's. But they are not very well documented. I might give it a try.
