Have you tried: printcap name = cups ? I use it with success. From man smb.conf: ================================ To use the CUPS printing interface set printcap name = cups. This should be supplemented by an addtional setting printing = cups in the [global] section. ================================ Also check with testparm that your config is what you expect.
