Hallo, zingalo/Stefano,

Du meintest am 03.05.12:

Hi,
yes, home directories are specified in the homeDirectory attribute
as:

//amahoro/users/zingalo

That's the samba notation. //$SERVER/$SHARE

You mean my notation is wrong?

but after logging this creates the same directory on the client and
this is wrong.

What tells

         df

df on the client?

Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
/dev/sda5 44186760 4018224 37923928 10% /
udev 1539868 4 1539864 1% /dev
tmpfs 618748 864 617884 1% /run
/dev/sda4 195262036 186862356 8399680 96% /media/44A936374932B99A

The home directories must be mounted at login time

No - that's no "must". That may be convenient.

ok :)

and i wouldn't add
a line on /etc/fstab for every home of every user on every client!!!

That's correct.

But a simple script should do the job. It should mount the special home
share via "cifs".

Have you tried my proposal?

i never did a script to do this. I think the script should have some variables to recognize username and password typed on login. i don't where start!
