I am running Samba 2.2.5 with ldap enabled. To add a user is really simple and the smbpasswd command works nice to change a password as well. I was wondering is there an easy way to allow a user to change their password via a CGI script? I am trying to get passwords synched on all devices using LDAP and I am pretty comftorable with LDAP module in perl. Is there a way to update their password by directly editing the user's ldap file? If so, how can it be done?
