The best way to do this is using an NTConfig.POL file located in the NETLOGON share root directory. You create this file using the Group Policy Editor. In it you can specify where you want the "My Documents" folder to be located. > > I also move mozilla's cache into their Local Settings folder > > We use IMAP to reduce the amount of mail stored in the profile. > > You could also increase the speed of your network... > > note: this is not a samba specific problem > > Is it windows specific then? I've never noticed it with Linux (LDAP/NFS). You need to learn correct management procedures for each application. The network deployment needs for MS Windows applications is not consistent across all applications. Again, as Bradley said, these matters are NOT samba specific. Even if you used a pure MS Windows network the requirements to do this are identical. - John T. -- John H Terpstra Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- To unsubscribe from this list go to the following URL and read the instructions: http://lists.samba.org/mailman/listinfo/samba
