I have set up a basic smb.conf file workgroup=sambagroup netbios name=samba encrypt passwords=yes [homes]
The testparm test passes ok and the smbclient -NL samba also passes. the problem is when i check local accessiablty with the smbclient //samba/homes/ -Uusername. After typing the password I received error tree conect failed:NT_STATUS_BAD_NETWORK_NAME. Thank you for your time.
