I am running solaris 7 on a sparcstation 5. We want to test out the pdc capablities on this test machine before we deploy this on our network. I installed gcc version 3.2.2. untared the source and did
./configure ; make
everything seemed to go fine, but the source dir is over a gig in size now. I did "make install", and ran out of disk space. this is what it was trying to install, these binaries are all between 20 and 57 MB. This can't be right? can it?
