smb.conf:

workgroup = METRAN
[test]
comment = For testing only, please
path = /usr/local/samba/tmp
read only = no
guest ok = yes
smbd fails to start but did log a pid in smbd.pid. The process is not in the process
table.
I ran smbd -i to display the messages:
smbd version 2.2.8a started.

bind failed on port 139 socket_addr = 0.0.0.0.
Error = Address already in use
What can I do to resolve this and have smbd start as a daemon successfully?
