RedHat 9, samba-2.2.7a-8.9.0. Fresh install. No iptables or any firewall settings.
I can access my server fine locally with smbclient, but using smbclient from a machine located in a network I get this: [EMAIL PROTECTED] kwang]$ smbclient //webdev.ic2.org/home added interface ip=24.243.211.67 bcast=24.243.223.255 nmask=255.255.240.0 added interface ip=192.168.0.2 bcast=192.168.0.255 nmask=255.255.255.0 error connecting to 128.83.222.87:139 (No route to host) Error connecting to 128.83.222.87 (No route to host) Connection to webdev.ic2.org failed Attempting this through Windows Explorer also fails. My hosts allow and hosts deny are both blank. Are there any settings that I need to check to enable the server to respond to outside connections?
