When using port 445 (that means - without NetBIOS) you must have a wellfunctioning DNS server. Hostnames will be resolved via DNS. WINS is like DNS for NetBIOS names.Could someone post an smb.conf and any other example conf file required for ssh tunneling with the samba server listening only to localhost ?
Having problems with this.
