Is it possible to mount (using smbmount) a samba share from a linux samba server on a linux client preserving the file attributes as they are on the server, thus preserving the executable bit on a per-file basis?
smbmount has the "fmask" and "dmask" arguments, but I do not want to use these, but use for each file whatever permission it originally has. thank Radu -- To unsubscribe from this list go to the following URL and read the instructions: http://lists.samba.org/mailman/listinfo/samba
