Attaching new logs including my smb.conf. Now I connect as real username (peter), but still no testpage. All fileshares works, but not printer share! I do not think it has to do with authentication/authorization.

Add printer wizard OK. Printing fails.
Print command replaced for debug purpose. I can tell that smbclient -c print /etc/motd from localhost and other linux box causes the print command to be executed but not when I try to print from windows client.

Any ideas?

I have a SuSE 9.0 linux box which I try to setup as a printer server (cups). I try to connect from a Windows XP home client.

I can install drivers over samba and it appears as it should from client, but when I try to print a test page it fails.

When I use smbclient it works

linux (127.0.0.1) connect to service lexmark_raw as user root (uid=0, gid=71) (pid 1930)

Is it authentication problems?

/Peter
