hello

i'm using cups-1.1.20, samba 2.2.8a.

i installed the cups drivers for windows, and tried to run cupsaddsmb.
it returns no erros, but when running in verbose mode, the
rpcclient localhost -N -U'root%password' -c 'setdriver hp hp' commmand failes with
NT_STATUS_UNSUCCESSFUL.
i wasn't able to find a solution for this problem, so i'm trying to get a bit help
here.

the relevant parts of my smb.conf:

[global]
        load printers = yes
        printing = cups
        printcap name = cups

[printers]
        comment = Unix Printers
        path = /usr/local/samba/var/spool
        browseable = no
        public = yes
        guest ok = yes
        writable = no
        printable = yes
        printer admin = root

[print$]

        comment = Printer Drivers
        path = /etc/samba/drivers
        browseable = yes
        guest ok = no
        read only = yes
        write list = root

oh, the printer is a hp psc 1110 with the hpoj drivers and the ppd files from
linuxprinting.org, if that matters.

thanks in advance!
