I am trying to write a decent little Perl script for a Samba 3.0.9 system on FC3, all installed from RPM. I know from my past experience and from what I have seen on the web that doing this for Samba and CUPS is tricky to say the least. Previously, I had some Perl scripts that did this successfully about 95% of the time on a RH8 system with Samba 2.2.8a installed from source. Having a bit of trouble. Has anyone come up with a working script, shell or Perl, etc?
