suppose you can use smbclient to connect the FC4 samba at localhost. for selinux issue, startx -> (run system-config-securitylevel in terminal) / (Desktop -> System Tools -> SecurityLevel) -> SELinux Tab -> "Modify Policy" for Samba -> diable nmbd & smbd
