It is very likely that smbfs does not do some of the advanced authentication options that W2k3 SP1 now requires. Please test the cifs filesystem, smbfs is unsupported for a while now.
Volker I tried mount.cifs, and get the following message: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:# mount -t cifs //localhost/share1 /tmp/testmount/ -o username=u1,password=u11 mount error 22 = Invalid argument Refer to the mount.cifs(8) manual page (e.g.man mount.cifs) Anything wrong with my option?
