Looking at my spec file, I see --with-lockdir=/var/cache/samba
so I don't think so. :-)

Hmm.  Looking at download.fedora.redhat.com, I see that FC4 shipped
with samba-3.0.14a-2.src.rpm, and only has a single update to
samba-3.0.23-1.fc4.src.rpm, so I'm kinda curious where the 3.0.21c
rpms came from.
