Dear list,

on a productive system, samba 3.0.14a (Debian Sarge) produces
hanging smbd processes. After some minutes, we have dozens of
such spawned entries in ps-list. At this time, the domain controller is
not available any more. The only workaround is to stop samba and
killall -9 smbd before restarting samba.

Any hints for this?
