Basically what we want is to set up all our Win2000 PCs to log into windows as a generic staff member then when they click on the desktop shortcut they are prompted for their server username & password and... hey presto all their network drives appear in My Computer.

I'm trying real hard to understand why you wouldn't just set the server up as a proper domain controller... it makes stuff like this brain-dead easy...
