That doesn't really help. I'm using CentOS 5.2 and the Samba that comes with... 3.0.28 There's a /var/log/samba/ which contains an smbd.log and an nmbd.log Some stuff is logged to them... other stuff is not. The fact that those files exist strongly suggests that all Samba-related logs are intended to go to those files.
