Hello list, I am running some Samba ADS member servers on Fedora 9 and samba version 3.2.0. I would like to upgrade them to 3.2.8. I upgraded the first one and was no longer able to authenticate to shares using ADS credentials. I removed all my tdb files, deleted the computer account and rejoined the domain and now I am able to access shares again using ADS authentication.
Is there a procedure that will allow me to upgrade without a hitch? I used yum upgrade samba by the way.
